- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or technical
discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum/General Experience:
- 10 years of general experience. Experience must be direct in the area of expertise.
- Functional Responsibility:
- Plans and performs research, design assessment, development, integration and other assignments in a
specific technical area. Supervises broad team of systems engineers. Responsible for highly complex
technical/engineering areas in the SME's area of expertise. May perform other duties, as assigned.
The Subject Matter Expert is that individual who exhibits the highest level of expertise in performing
a specialized job, task, or skill within the organization.
