Anti-Terrorism Planner Suite
Bevilacqua developed, upgrades, maintains and runs the Anti-Terrorism (AT) Planner for the US Army Engineering and Research Center (ERDC). AT Planner was developed to aid the engineer in evaluating force protection issues from terrorist/saboteur attack. Concepts and procedures for protecting personnel and critical assets from civilian or paramilitary groups are evaluated. The AT Planner is a Windows-based application suitable for operation on a notebook computer, and draws on completed and ongoing research related to the protection of fixed facilities from terrorist attack as well as work on field fortifications.
There are continuing efforts in place to develop new tools for the AT Planner suite. This includes a utility to convert the XML AT Planner outputs to MS Access Database format, therefore making AT Planner data available to a broad range of third-party viewer applications. Also in the works is a custom geodatabase application using ESRI's ArcGIS Engine™ product. The initial release provides AT Planner specific utilities for viewing and analyzing the data.
