Cognitive Reasoning Engine
As a leader in Artificial Intelligence technologies, Bevilacqua has developed the Cognitive Reasoning Engine (CORE). The CORE toolkit is an advanced framework for building "intelligent" computer applications. It is composed of a set of user-friendly development tools that facilitate the incorporation of intelligent decision making modules into new and existing applications. The suite includes a Conceptual Graph Editor and Ontological Database Tool for defining logic; a Graph Processor to convert the logic to XML/CGIF format; and an extensive set of Node/Actor User Libraries. To date, the CORE toolkit has been used in ten separate contracts with the Army, Navy and Air Force. Customers include the U.S. Army Research Institute, the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, the Missile Defense Agency and the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office.
